Just loving being home with my boys!

I can't begin to describe how much I love being home with my boys. I wish I could be a stay at home mom forever. Some days are just lazy, hang around the house days, others are busy fun days. Either way...I truly enjoy each and every moment with them. I'm thankful to have this time to be home with them and watch them grow. Kole is smiling all the time now and has even started to giggle a little bit. It's crazy to think he is almost 3 months old already! :( Kaden is silly as ever. Every morning when he wakes up he yells " MOMMMY GET ME OUT OF HERE!" and then starts giggling. At night he will try everything in his will power to delay going to bed. He will ask for "just one more kiss and hug". He knows I can never refuse a hug or kiss...especially from my boys! Throughout the day he keeps me laughing as well. He knows he's being funny and does whatever he can to make me laugh. If only they could stay this little and innocent forever!

Kaden's 2nd Birthday!

I can't believe it...my little boy is 2 years old. He isn't so little anymore especially now that we have Kole. It's sad to think that 2 years have already gone by. Time does fly when you have kids. These past 2 years with Kaden have been nothing but amazing. He brings joy and happiness to my life each and every moment of every day.

Easter's coming!

My favorite holiday is Easter. Easter means warm weather is coming, pretty spring flowers bloom, cute animals, pastel colors, and of course the yummy candy (cadbury mini chocolate eggs, cadbury cream eggs, reeses pieces eggs, and jelly beans..just to mention a few!) To celebrate Easter Kaden, Kole and I made a few Easter crafts and went to visit the Easter Bunny. I was a little worried with how Kaden was going to react to the Easter Bunny since it didn't go well with Santa just a few months ago. To my surprise, Kaden was very happy to sit on the Easter Bunny's lap...and Kole didn't seem to mind either. Kaden even gave us a nice smile.

Rain, Rain, Go Away....

The past few days have been very rainy and we have been stuck inside. That's pretty tough with an almost 2 year old and a 5 week old. To pass the time we colored, played play doh, made Easter decorations, read, played matchbox cars and tractors, and watched tv. Even though the weather was gloomy, we had a lot of fun.

We are also getting our backyard ready for Kaden's new birthday present....a big wooden swingset! He is very excited and has enjoyed spending some time outside getting the yard ready with Daddy, Papa, and Great Grampa Sam.

Kole's Nursery

Here are some pictures of Kole's nursery. We are still waiting to hang some wall decorations and to get a small area rug. Big Brother Kaden loves this room and wants to play in it all the time. He cannot wait for his little brother to arrive :)

Kole's "Sprinkle"

My sister, parents, and in-laws held a small baby shower to for me last weekend to celebrate the upcoming arrival of our son Kole. It was great being with all my close friends and family. My sister really put a lot of work into the shower. She made the invitations which came out beautiful. She had asked everyone who came to bring diapers and wipes. This was great because we all know how fast those things go and how expensive they are. My house is now full of diapers (of all sizes) and wipes! I also got my double stroller and many other cute gifts for Kole. Several people made food which was delicious, and my friend Katie made the beautiful cake....I felt guilty cutting it, but it was sooo YUMMY! Karen made these amazing brownies with the adorable "K" and "Kole" signs in them! It was a big hit! I am very lucky to have such a great family and amazing friends. :)
